I choose to understand that God IS and that anything outside of His Love is the confusion of the Son of God of which we each are a part.
So it would be confusion or a mistake that can be corrected. Though, not necessarily in this lifetime.
So true, though I choose to call it a mistake rather than evil. That is not to say I ignore the fact that it leaves us with difficult feelings or consequences even though they may be part of the confusion.
There is an ego that is created out of fear and is well, hysterical and destructive according to A Course In Miracles. It is not to be destroyed or even considered evil, rather to e calmed and seen as confused so that we might come to any understanding of who we are.
I enoy your dedication to clarity and I agree that there is a lot of confusion out there.
I, personally, am not a believer in sin. I believe in mistakes that will be overturned by God's Will that shows we are perfection and anything else is unreal.
I used to believe the traditional Christian explanations of life but no longer. I am a student of A Course In Miracles and even there I have my own personal understanding of it.
Thank you for sharing your understanding at this time. Doing that allows the Spirit to continue to teach us. That has been my experience anyway.
Interestingly, it can attack the body as well because our thoughts can get locked into the body according to energy medicine understandings.
This is so alien to what a Creator or Loving Father would do.
And it has been taught this way for long enough!
