Expansion of the Consciousness Can Go Anywhere
Why I choose to stay in my body.
I feel impressed to share why I do not get too involved in lucid dreaming, mediumship, or astral travel even though I believe in all of these abilities within the consciousness of the human mind.

I have a few favorite “channelers,” and some are my spiritual inspirations in this world of form. I have many guides that are not seen in form any longer as well. My daughter is a dear one. I love to hear her name in any form, anywhere.

The reason I do not engage in some of these other mental abilities is that I have firm faith that I chose to come here in this time and this dimension to perform a function and that the powers of the mind can be so diverse and delightful that they would be a distraction.

I will not judge another; I only share my inclinations and why I choose them. Focus is a big point here.
It is like the many resources that we have in our media today. It can be almost overwhelming just having so many choices.

I look forward to the time I will be aware of and experience those things, but for now, I will be grateful for the intense witness that the research and writing that I do with the Course is sufficient for today.

I would love to learn piano and the harp, but this Course work calls to me, and I must set those things aside and give thanks for the fact that others cannot resist the sharing of their talents while somehow knowing those gifts are me finding expression through them.

Isn’t that cool to think about? I do not have to be envious or jealous of those who have used life to accomplish things I thought would be awesome, but I can enjoy their blessings and accomplishments.
What a different way to look at it from how the world of separation gives us a place of envy where we have to put others down who excel.
A Course In Miracles teaches oneness and is very tangible to me here in form.

I can’t begin to express the amount of joy that I have because of the life I have within the awareness of my inner life, where a glimmer of the true me resides.
