I find your response confusing.
Dystopian: adjective; relating to or denoting an imagined state or society where there is great suffering or injustice.
Totalitarianism: noun; a system of government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state.

Perhaps you are stating that this would be the situation if Christianity were a real political machine.

To which I would respond, yes, I do believe that is the “worldview” we have given ourselves and accepted en masse.

But exactly what is it that you thought would be great? (I will review my full response and will perhaps see the answer. Here I am responding to only what Medium gives me at first glance. Thank you for your comment, by the way. :) )

The way that I was thinking is that Christianity is the epitome of separating God from humanity.
Dogma, priesthood, guilt, all do their part to separate us from our Source and the power that He endowed us with at our conception.
The influence that it has on the world at large and the fact that it is an educational tool, that leads not to self-actualization but compliance and basically gaslight people into believing that they are not capable of thinking for themselves. Just like any other popular theory, philosophy, organization, celebrity, etc.
There is an undoing of all of that which each of us will eventually come to understand and embrace our unity and have gratitude for the Creator of it all.
It is the Atonement that I speak of that simply acknowledges that God IS and nothing could be outside of that in any way shape or form. This would mean that all that came from the error of believing the Son could separate from the Father must be “unreal” and correctable.
The beautiful thing about this is that it is the only way that humanity will ever be truly “free” to function as entities unto themselves because they will line up their mental compass, not to society, some ideology, or carrot that is never to be consumed but to the Inner Guidance system that I refer to as the Holy Spirit.
This alone, keeps us as children and in the moment, embracing and expressing our personality and individuality so as to benefit the whole Sonship.
