I totally, totally love this!!!

I had not known much about the man till about 2014 when for a lot of reasons my world changed and I was led away from traditional Christianity and into a broader mind of awareness and consciousness.

May I suggest that since he lived in India which is a very spiritual environment that he was exposed to many ideas about religion and more than likely came up with his own. Which has a lot in common with what I have learned about in ACIM.

I am glad that you shared some of his songs that I was not familiar with and I can tell you that he was a very spiritual man and very much in touch with his right to live as he thought was correct for him and that alone earns him a great deal of respect from me.

Here are the words from another song of his. Title is: Is This The World We Created?

Just look at all those hungry mouths we have to feed

Take a look at all the suffering we breed

So many lonely faces scattered all around

Searching for what they need

Is this the world we created

we made it on our own

Is this the world we invaded

Against the law

So it seems in the end

Is this what we're all living for today

The world that we created.

You know that every day a helpless child is born

Who needs some loving care inside a happy home

Somewhere a wealthy man is sitting on his throne

Waiting for life to go by

Is this the world we created

we made it on our own

Is this the world we devastated

Right to the bone?

If there's a God in the sky looking down

What can he think of what we've done

To the world that he created.

I have come to really admire this man on a really deep level and I am grateful for the life he lived and that he brought aids to the attention of the masses and that he exposed the sexual hypocracy of traditional Christianity and at least, for me, helped me step out of a cage of judging that I had trapped myself in.

Freddie went all-sexual but I feel that what he was really expressing was that we ought to be able to love everyone completely. I tend to lean into non-sexual as healthier and more in line with our true nature.

Would it not be wonderful if we could keep our body parts to ourselves and express affection by holding hands, combing hair, and giving hugs? Ahh, that is just me. Cyber hugs to all, you too, Freddie! <3

Thanks again for your post!
