Each will have to experience life and find out for themselves.

I watched the 2014 movie “Into the Woods” with Meryl S. and Johnny D. last night and cannot help but make a comment or two.

It is a musical that reveals a lot of talent in these actors portraying several of our well-known children’s fairy tales all rolled into one place, the woods.

Its theme and “message” are what I would like to speak to.

It is my soapbox issue that everything preaches. Even that so-called “only entertainment” I have heard of.

They sing blatantly be careful what you tell your children. For the children are “listening”.

So we will have a generation of children who have grown up without “instruction”. I have seen it from up close and I am not going to say that this is a bad thing.

My witness is that it is only the Holy Spirit within each of us that can teach anything at all because only He reveals what already IS by God’s decree.

So if our children are feeling “displaced” or “lost” in the world, I do not see this as a bad thing. And when they are ready, they will look inside, find the Holy Spirit and have hope, peace, and joy that none can take away.

For this, I am so grateful.

Till next time, God bless, bye for now.
