My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 293 for 20 October 2023. Spiritual Eyes ARE Required!
All fear is past and only love is here.
* This is WITHIN the undoing forgiveness of the Atonement which recognizes God and frees the Son from the belief and consequences of the Original Error of belief in separation from God and Self.
1. All fear is past, because its source is gone, and all its thoughts gone with it.
* WITH the Guidance of the Holy Spirit and WITH a BODY you still walk in an ego-manifested society.
²Love remains the only present state, whose Source is here forever and forever.
³Can the world seem bright and clear and safe and welcoming, with all my past mistakes oppressing it, and showing me distorted forms of fear?
* NOTE: “showing me distorted forms of fear,” this confirms that you will still “be in the world,” yet, if IN the mindset and understanding of the Atonement NOT OF IT.”
⁴Yet in the present love is obvious, and its effects apparent.
* I am able to see the signs of God’s Love in the moment all around me. It is even in the breath we take while still under the influence of ego mentality.
⁵All the world shines in reflection of its holy light, and I perceive a world forgiven at last.
2. Father, let not Your holy world escape my sight today.
²Nor let my ears be deaf to all the hymns of gratitude the world is singing underneath the sounds of fear.
³There is a real world which the present holds safe from all past mistakes.
⁴And I would see only this world before my eyes today.
* MY SPIRITUAL EYES because anything else is impossible.
