My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 295 for 22 October 2023 GOD’S EYES ARE the ONES I SEE THROUGH
The Holy Spirit looks through me today.
* This ties in with what I have been experiencing lately. It is sort of like “life is living me” instead of the other way around, and quite frankly, I think that might be what Jesus is trying to tell us about being Christ.
1. Christ asks that He may use my eyes today, and thus redeem the world.
* NO HE DOES NOT because Christ is you and me.
* The Holy Spirit asks that HE may use my eyes today or more correctly give me NEW EYES, and thus redeem the world.
²He asks this gift that He may offer peace of mind to me, and take away all terror and all pain.
* Yes, the HOLY SPIRIT will do this for you once you forgive the Original Error of belief the possibility of in separation from God.
³And as they are removed from me, the dreams that seemed to settle on the world are gone.
* They ARE gone, BUT I am still in the “movie theater” watching the show and I need to remember that and not get “freaked out.” This will be so until the Whole of the Christ Consciousness has let go of the belief in the possibility of separation from God.
⁴Redemption must be one.
* Hmm. Yes, the Whole Consciousness will have all of these blessings once every part of the Whole Consciousness accepts the Atonement IE undoing of that Original Error.
⁵As I am saved, the world is saved with me.
⁶For all of us must be redeemed together.
⁷Fear appears in many different forms, but love is one.
* That witness of ONE brings the Peace, Joy, and Happiness that are gifts from God through the Holy Spirit.
* That ONE is the Son of God. WE cannot be separated from one another or from God, the Father. And this is NOT bondage but FREEDOM which frightens us to no end while we believe in the ego and its deceptions.
2. My Father, Christ has asked a gift of me, and one I give that it be given me.
* “My Father” IS NOT CHRIST. Though this would be an understandable error on the part of those who scribed the Course.
* However, you will note that there is no comma after Christ suggesting Christ is the Father, so deb ~ slow down.
* Christ, or creation, has asked a gift of me, and one I give that it be given me. That I remember that I look on Christ as Christ, as Jesus did when he walked the earth.
²Help me to use the eyes of Christ today, and thus allow the Holy Spirit’s Love to bless all things which I may look upon, that His forgiving Love may rest on me.
* Using the spiritual eyes that the HOLY SPIRIT will give me to allow GOD’S LOVE to bless all things which I may look upon, that ~ hmm, Christ’s forgiving Love may rest on me.
* Forgiving is not IN God’s Love because it is Whole and Complete. However, Christ chooses to extend God’s Love WITH forgiveness of the Original Error.
* Do you see the confusion in the blend of the Trinity Components (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?) Each Component is vital and must be seen in its own capacity for the time being with God at the Head.
* Forgiving and love are two words that could only be applied in unison within the world that the ego manifested. Otherwise, they do not belong together, and HERE is the level confusion, recognized as while TIME remains for ANY part of Christ forgiveness MUST be extended.
