My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 333 for 29 November 2023. Do Not Deny Fear Once Forgiveness Is Applied
Forgiveness ends the dream of conflict here.
* Indeed, the end of conflict happens. BUT, THEN THE FUN BEGINS OF BRINGING WHAT WAS HIDDEN TO THE LIGHT SO THAT IT MIGHT BE RELEASED TO THAT FORGIVENESS.
1. Conflict must be resolved.
* Yep, if only in your own heart and mind.
²It cannot be evaded, set aside, denied, disguised, seen somewhere else, called by another name, or hidden by deceit of any kind, if it would be escaped.
³It must be seen exactly as it is, where it is thought to be, in the reality which has been given it, and with the purpose that the mind accorded it.
* Please bear in mind that we are ALL of ONE MIND so where it is will APPEAR to be in many places, however the forgiveness of the Atonement teaches us that it is ALL the CHRIST.
⁴For only then are its defenses lifted, and the truth can shine upon it as it disappears.
2. Father, forgiveness is the light You chose to shine away all conflict and all doubt, and light the way for our return to You.
* In EVERY place the darkness of secrecy is found it must be revealed to True Forgiveness’s Light.
²No light but this can end our evil dream.
* Isn’t it interesting how the scribes did not see light the same way they see love, or better yet, understand that it was God that we were inviting?
³No light but this can save the world.
* Light deserves to be capitalized. It represents the witness of Christ and Father’s Presence.
⁴For this alone will never fail in anything, being Your gift to Your beloved Son.
* The “gift” then is the forgiveness of the original error of belief in the possibility of separation from God.
