My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 94, for April 3, 2024. I am as God created me.
I am as God created me.
* Thank you, God. And I mean the head honcho, not Jesus who started all of this separation bullshit as best as I can figure!
* Jesus gets to give me my assignment in the Universal Plan but there is a bigger picture out there and I have access to HIM, and I do not have to go through Jesus to meet my MAKER! ARGH!!! Or ANYBODY else!
* Jesus KNOWS this too! We just have not been ‘listening’ to what he has been telling us!
1. Today we continue with the one idea which brings complete salvation; the one statement which makes all forms of temptation powerless; the one thought which renders the ego silent and entirely undone.
²You are as God created you.
³The sounds of this world are still, the sights of this world disappear, and all the thoughts that this world ever held are wiped away forever by this one idea.
* What ‘world’ goes still? The ones that the ego made. The one that says there is ANY NEED of a middle man between me and God.
⁴Here is salvation accomplished.
⁵Here is sanity restored.
* Because the Son speaks to the Father directly.
* Jesus is doing this, maybe, he has had a tough time of it. He is the God of the Old Testament and only in the meridian of time did he realize that all must access God directly by the means of the Atonement or undoing of the idea of separation from God, the Original Father.
* Jesus has been known to be called the Father of this world, even in some Christian circles. Jesus is my elder brother but he is not my savior in any sense of the word other than his insistence that God exists and I praise him for that and will be eternally grateful!
2. True light is strength, and strength is sinlessness.
* True light, that which comes directly from God, OUR Eternal Father, and not from ANYONE’s imagination.
²If you remain as God created you, you must be strong and light must be in you.
* Let’s acknowledge this together for one another!
³He Who ensured your sinlessness must be the guarantee of strength and light as well.
* This is the ONLY God that I want to WORSHIP I do not care how Powerful ANYONE thinks he is or NEEDS to be as Jesus did for a time. We MUST forgive him to recognize these truths with acceptance of the True Forgiveness of the Atonement which undoes the belief in separation.
⁴You are as God created you.
* Not as you and Jesus and the rest of his Counsel decided you fit into HIS (Jesus’ STORY).
⁵Darkness cannot obscure the glory of God’s Son.
* Not even Jesus’ darkness is able to do this forever. Just for what, at the moment, seems like a very long time.
* In the Atonement, though, ALL is healed and the Light only grows brighter and brighter every day!
* it is up to you and me to step out of Jesus’ Story. He cannot do that for us. Only our desiring only Love will show us that not even Jesus’ Story could be true. Not ANY part of the confusion and terror that seemed to reign at any given time.
* And how could there be more than ONE Story that was let loose before God corrected the situation?
* I really suspect that it is only Jesus’ Story that we need to forgive and it will embody all within the Mind of Christ that went astray and latched onto the idea that separation from the One Eternal God and Father was possible.
⁶You stand in light, strong in the sinlessness in which you were created, and in which you will remain throughout eternity.
* Us, and Jesus as well!!!
3. Today we will again devote the first five minutes of each waking hour to the attempt to feel the truth in you. ²Begin these times of searching with these words:
³I am as God created me.
⁴I am His Son eternally.
⁵Now try to reach the Son of God in you.
* It may happen in any of a thousand ways but to know that YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD is what you are seeking.
⁶This is the Self that never sinned, nor made an image to replace reality.
⁷This is the Self that never left Its home in God to walk the world uncertainly.
⁸This is the Self that knows no fear, nor could conceive of loss or suffering or death.
4. Nothing is required of you to reach this goal except to lay all idols and self-images aside; go past the list of attributes, both good and bad, you have ascribed to yourself; and wait in silent expectancy for the truth.
²God has Himself promised that it will be revealed to all who ask for it.
* You cannot hold onto one idea of lack or grudge or fear that everything is not working in your favor NO MATTER what the world
of form may be saying.
³You are asking now.
⁴You cannot fail because He cannot fail.
5. If you do not meet the requirement of practicing for the first five minutes of every hour, at least remind yourself hourly:
²I am as God created me.
³I am His Son eternally.
⁴Tell yourself frequently today that you are as God created you.
* As IS the Whole BODY of Christ.
⁵And be sure to respond to anyone who seems to irritate you with these words:
⁶You are as God created you.
* AS is JESUS.
⁷You are His Son eternally.
* Jesus is ALSO His Son Eternally, let’s show Jesus that he lives with us within the Mind and Will of God by forgiving him and accepting the Atonement as well.
⁸Make every effort to do the hourly exercises today.
⁹Each one you do will be a giant stride toward your release, and a milestone in learning the thought system which this course sets forth.
