I am not a body.

I am free.

For I am still as God created me.

1. (194) I place the future in the Hands of God.

²The past is gone; the future is not yet.

* This concept certainly SAVES my sanity and calm in a chaotic mental environment in which we CHOOSE to currently reside.

* I think the remnants of that kind of thinking (recalling the past) might be why I have the nervous ticks of overeating. You know what I mean? Like, my BODY remembers, even if my head and emotions let it go.

* I am stating this because I want you to understand that everything is not going to flip into a fictitious or false idea of Heaven. No, Heaven resides within you, where you have NEVER LEFT because YOU COULD NEVER HAVE LEFT GOD.

* What you will find is a PEACE that totally Rests. Not like the “calm” in the middle of the storm but a rest that you just know will not be altered by ANYTHING. NO MATTER what your emotions may do as you witness the false ideas of separation from God being played out before you.

³Now am I freed from both.

* You know they are false, no matter what you see, and you will recognize them as that and GIVE THANKS even as you must tend to the responsibilities that you may have or choose to play out.

⁴For what God gives can only be for good.

* Even these false circumstances or emotional experiences you will see as teachers and in your heart you will smile and rely on the (W)holy Spirit to show you what it is that you may learn so as to raise the vibration and understanding of Christ as a Whole a bit closer to His Awakening to the Presence of the Father.

⁵And I accept but what He gives as what belongs to me.

* THIS IS A GIFT of the Spirit as we KNOW that God Exists, that WE, EACH, are a part of the Sonship that is the Body/Consciousness of Christ, and that we have been given all that the Father Is and Has so how can we be lacking no matter what is taken away or even appears to be given to us!!!

⁶I am not a body.

* I am not bound by some contract with the ego where I was tricked out of my inheritance by a bowl of soup or manipulated into giving something to someone that NO ONE has the right to give (land, for instance) because it belongs to God and His Son as a WHOLE.

* Genesis 25:29–34 English Standard Version Esau Sells His Birthright: 29 Once when Jacob was cooking stew, Esau came in from the field, and he was exhausted. 30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Let me eat some of that red stew, for I am exhausted!” (Therefore his name was called Edom.[a]) 31 Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright now.” 32 Esau said, “I am about to die; of what use is a birthright to me?” 33 Jacob said, “Swear to me now.” So he swore to him and sold his birthright to Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew, and he ate and drank and rose and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.

⁷I am free.

* There is enough to go around, in abundance, and we will discover this as God is allowed to Exist in the Mind of the Son.

* Currently, we think that the “outer world of the body” is our “reality” and that is NOT SO! We Live IN God, IN His Thoughts and Knowledge. It is like “putting the cart before the horse” as they used to say .

* This can be seen in relationships as well as in “property” because through the ego mentality “relationships” ARE PROPERTY and are to be managed accordingly. They are also to be “protected” or HOARDED as if a relationship were a thing outside oneself and God and NOT a part of the WHOLE that IS GOD Who Has Given ALL That He Is to the Son WITHOUT EVER LEAVING HIM HIMSELF.

* All this does is create a place of bondage.

⁸For I am still as God created me.

* How we engage with the ego mentality in the world at the moment is TRULY something that needs to be handed over to the (W)holy Spirit one instant at a time so that we are aware of our Reality IN the Presence of God and Christ while ~ GENTLY ~ clearing the confusion that separation thinking has brought into “what appears to be life.”

(ACIM, W-214.1:1–8)

Till next time, God bless, debi.
