9. Are Changes Required in the Life Situation of God’s Teachers?
1. Changes are required in the minds of God’s teachers.
* Our minds.
²This may or may not involve changes in the external situation.
³Remember that no one is where he is by accident, and chance plays no part in God’s plan.
⁴It is most unlikely that changes in attitudes would not be the first step in the newly made teacher of God’s training.
* It will happen though.
⁵There is, however, no set pattern, since training is always highly individualized.
⁶There are those who are called upon to change their life situation almost immediately, but these are generally special cases.
⁷By far the majority are given a slowly evolving training program, in which as many previous mistakes as possible are corrected.
⁸Relationships in particular must be properly perceived, and all dark cornerstones of unforgiveness removed.
* See your brother in Christ. Apply the atoning forgiveness that brings Father back to your brother. Release the stories to unreal dreams that you walk in and can bring Father’s Light.
⁹Otherwise the old thought system still has a basis for return.
2. As the teacher of God advances in his training, he learns one lesson with increasing thoroughness.
²He does not make his own decisions; he asks his Teacher for His answer, and it is this he follows as his guide for action.
* It is usually gradual, as stated, but you will see the wisdom of relying on His Direction and letting go of the reins of your life.
³This becomes easier and easier, as the teacher of God learns to give up his own judgment.
⁴The giving up of judgment, the obvious prerequisite for hearing God’s Voice, is usually a fairly slow process, not because it is difficult, but because it is apt to be perceived as personally insulting.
* Consider what this might be saying to you. Perhaps it does not trip you up any longer.
* Do not think that it means there is not a “walking in the witness of Father” and a “walking without Father.” Father will tell you through SPIRIT when HE and His Son are welcome.
* There will be a sense of unity, healthy boundaries, and an ear to the translation of SPIRIT in all circumstances.
⁵The world’s training is directed toward achieving a goal in direct opposition to that of our curriculum.
⁶The world trains for reliance on one’s judgment as the criterion for maturity and strength.
⁷Our curriculum trains for the relinquishment of judgment as the necessary condition of salvation.
* I have no judgment of where people choose to be, but I can tell when their stories and labels dictate who they see themselves as and how they view me.
* All this means is that I back up and allow Father through SPIRIT to teach them as He sees fit.
* I have my outlet for expression here online and I will share my idea of unconditional love with the world as long as I am able, knowing that I have no need to knock anybody off their path and onto mine, while those who are ready to meet me in Father’s Presence will be “willing to do so freely.”
