My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 251, for September 7, 2024. I am in need of nothing but the truth.

I am in need of nothing but the truth.

* BECAUSE IN THE TRUTH I HAVE EVERYTHING and NOTHING exists OUTSIDE OF THE TRUTH. Whether people believe it to be real or not.

1. I sought for many things, and found despair.

²Now do I seek but one, for in that one is all I need, and only what I need.

³All that I sought before I needed not, and did not even want.

⁴My only need I did not recognize.

⁵But now I see that I need only truth.

⁶In that all needs are satisfied, all cravings end, all hopes are finally fulfilled and dreams are gone.

* DO NOT take this to mean that DESIRE is GONE or that Existence is BORING because it is NOT. INSTEAD, it allows life to be FULLY LIVED and SHARED!

⁷Now have I everything that I could need.

⁸Now have I everything that I could want.

* I may not see it with my natural eyes but I do with my spiritual ones because I KNOW that God IS and that this is His Truth.

⁹And now at last I find myself at peace.

2. And for that peace, our Father, we give thanks.

²What we denied ourselves You have restored, and only that is what we really want.

* THAT “REALLY” in there makes it sound like we give up everything and that is a bold face lie!

* The egos of the scribes and editors show through clearly in this lesson from where I stand in the Atonement and in Heaven.
