My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 253, for September 9, 2024. My Self is Ruler of the Universe

My Self is ruler of the universe.

* Did you know that we each have our own personal universe and that God’s Presence is what allows them to be all tied together?

* This is what I have come to witness. Each has their own story, and it is something else to be allowed into the universe and the “story” of someone else, however, ONLY IN GOD PRESENCE are we truly allowed to “SHARE” and when we do we share ALL that we ARE because that is what God Does.

* THIS is why ONLY God’s Presence allows us to communicate or engage sincerely with another part of ourself. You see, God wanted a Son so that HE might EXPERIENCE “Another” part of Himself.

* Bear in mind that I feel this is channeled information, though it is from my experience in this body/form and my study of the teachings of Jesus in the Course and elsewhere. The Urtext really brings these things into focus for me each time I review it.

1. It is impossible that anything should come to me unbidden by myself.

* I invite everything into my life. It is my request for understanding. This is NOT understood outside of the Atonement where we have removed God and believe that we could be affected by ANYTHING outside of ourselves.

²Even in this world, it is I who rule my destiny.

* I take this to mean anything in the world of ego=god mentality.

* HMM. So, when I am affected by another’s ego story and it irritates me so much that I feel I must leave myself without a roof over my head, it is me who invited that story so that I could learn and experience the things I would in that circumstance. Hmm.

* I do know that this state of “homelessness” has given me insight into what the world ~ people ~ will be feeling like as we allow a belief, and eventually knowledge, of God back into the psyche of Christ Consciousness.

* Unstable, a bit tipsy, or imbalanced, second-guessing, and with a temptation to fear and doubt that we MUST NOT ALLOW OURSELVES TO INDULGE IN. It is like being on a conveyor belt with no handrails and will take focused commitment along with steady breathing to maneuver.

³What happens is what I desire.

* I may create With the Blessing and witness of God’s Love in my very BEING or miscreate without Father.

⁴What does not occur is what I do not want to happen.

⁵This must I accept.

⁶For thus am I led past this world to my creations, children of my will, in Heaven where my holy Self abides with them and Him Who has created me.

* I am hesitant with this because we are not to force anyone and must realize that this exact existence in that sense is not real because there appears to be opposition.

* I choose to imagine everything is working out for the best in many different scenarios, without the suffering and guilt Within the Mind and Will of God. And all in the present “wholly” Instant.

2. You are the Self Whom You created Son, creating like Yourself and One with You.

* We each give our ALL to the image we choose to manifest whether it be creation or miscreation. This is why NO ONE can alter us in reality because WE ARE the ONLY ONES Running the show.

²My Self, which rules the universe, is but Your Will in perfect union with my own, which can but offer glad assent to Yours, that it may be extended to Itself.

* Each of us operate in this manner. And still the Father allows us to interact and embrace one another AS we ACKNOWLEDGE HIM.
