My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 274 for September 29, 2024. Today belongs to love. Let me not fear.
Today belongs to love. Let me not fear.
* PSST, Love = God, the Original, Universal, Creator of All That Is or Ever Will Be, OUR FATHER Who Art (IS) in HEAVEN right where we have NEVER ACTUALLY LEFT.
1. Father, today I would let all things be as You created them, and give Your Son the honor due his sinlessness; the love of brother to his brother and his Friend.
* We are told in the Course that our “ONLY FRIEND” is the WHOLLY SPIRIT. This is God’s Voice and the Whole of the Christ Sonship/Consciousness in their Highest State.
²Through this I am redeemed.
* I do this as I recognize the True Forgiveness of the Atonement that allows the mind to disconnect belief in the reality of the confusion and chaos that the original error of belief in the possibility of separation from God gave us.
³Through this as well the truth will enter where illusions were, light will replace all darkness, and Your Son will know he is as You created him.
* I want to tell you what I have been brought to ponder lately and that is IF I NEED to forgive anything amiss in this chaotic illusion ~IF~ I have accepted the witness of the Atonement and disengaged from the idea that this “nonsense” is reality.
* There is something that whispers to me that I do NOT. Including my own errors or what I consider to be that.
* There is a Universal Plan of Salvation in the works that is directed by Jesus of Nazareth and other ascended masters.
* I suspect that there are things that we will do or say that have no logical meaning to us from where we sit but that we agreed to these situations for the good of the Whole Consciousness that is Christ.
* I have witnessed this in my own life, and I recall reading that we will be given what to say and so on, as well as that our will is God’s so I am of a mind to believe we can take our energies off of “doing and saying what is right” and flow with just “being.
* That means that we do not ruminate (think about over and over) on revenge or problems and that we look for the signs of God’s Love and the ways that Heavenly Father shows us what we want to “undo” in our thinking so that separation is dissolved in the world of form.
2. A special blessing comes to us today, from Him Who is our Father.
²Give this day to Him, and there will be no fear today, because the day is given unto love.
* The lack of separation or inequality would be the highest form of Love in my understanding today. This does not mean that we do not have individual and unique roles in the Universal Plan of Salvation or even as Souls within the Mind and Will of God.
