My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 338 for December 2, 2024. I am affected only by my thoughts.
I am affected only by my thoughts.
* In God I am in perfect bliss. All else is part of the illusion.
1. It needs but this to let salvation come to all the world.
* I would take this lesson as if it were speaking to Christ as a Whole and understand that we do want to work into that kind of reality.
²For in this single thought is everyone released at last from fear.
* Yes, yet EACH one of us MUST have this awareness and embrace the wholeness that is within.
³Now has he learned that no one frightens him, and nothing can endanger him.
* IN REALITY. This is not the case within the illusion where death and trauma is believed in.
⁴He has no enemies, and he is safe from all external things.
* True, but these things must be acknowledged within, before they will be seen in the world around us.
⁵His thoughts can frighten him, but since these thoughts belong to him alone, he has the power to change them and exchange each fear thought for a happy thought of love.
* Here the wording is misleading because love is not understood by humanity at this time, nor is our oneness with all that is a common belief. We change these beliefs in the atonement and SPIRIT is able to teach us thereafter but it is misleading how Father is removed here and the word “each” is used as if this transition is something that one does over and over. When the atonement is a way of thinking that SPIRIT reveals to us as “whole” as we are ready to receive it as we are ABLE to receive it.
⁶He crucified himself.
* As a whole, Christ envisioned a reality that existed separate from God and let himself “die” in his nightmares.
⁷Yet God has planned that His beloved Son will be redeemed.
2. Your plan is sure, my Father, — only Yours.
²All other plans will fail.
* I completely accept this.
³And I will have thoughts that will frighten me, until I learn that You have given me the only Thought that leads me to salvation.
* I know this and I walk in it.
⁴Mine alone will fail, and lead me nowhere.
* Mine, without God’s Guidance through SPIRIT will fail. Individually and as a whole consciousness.
⁵But the Thought You gave me promises to lead me home, because it holds Your promise to Your Son.
* I reside in Heaven with Father at this time, inside. He is Guiding me through SPIRIT to know where I may best serve the whole consciousness that is Christ. I want to let everyone work out their own path at their own pace and by their own conscience. I want to be free to explore the horizons of Heaven On Earth In Form, at the same time. I can only pray that someday all will understand this.
And I do know that it is so.
