My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 346 for December 11, 2024. Today the peace of God envelops me, and I forget all things except His Love.
Today the peace of God envelops me, and I forget all things except His Love.
* I do not care for the “wording” of this because we do not understand that Love is what God IS.
* I have Father’s Peace with me at all times. Even when I feel lost on some Wyoming highway with 40+ mile an hour winds, my battery going down so I cannot warm my car, and the Hwy Patrol is not able to find me.
* I bundle up, talk to Father, and leave it up to Him, it is HIS Life I am living.
* Now, afterward when I am rescued minutes after what I think is my last call to 911 because my battery is dead I get a bit hysterical. Okay, to tell the truth, I was sort of sobbing while speaking to the operator as the moon was going behind the clouds. BUT I had the Peace of God WITH me, despite my circumstances or emotions about them.
1. Father, I wake today with miracles correcting my perception of all things.
* In other words, I walk in the witness that GOD IS.
²And so begins the day I share with You as I will share eternity, for time has stepped aside today.
* Indeed.
³I do not seek the things of time, and so I will not look upon them.
⁴What I seek today transcends all laws of time and things perceived in time.
⁵I would forget all things except Your Love.
* NO. I would forget all things except Your Presence. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
⁶I would abide in You, and know no laws except Your law of love.
* No “law,” I would abide in You, IE. Live in Father, and know no other existence except IN FATHER.
⁷And I would find the peace which You created for Your Son, forgetting all the foolish toys I made as I behold Your glory and my own.
* It amounts to that. INCLUDING all of the “idols” that I made out of things like parents, boyfriends, children, grandkids, superstars, and the milkman.
* THESE are all idols because I placed them as a need above Father. How could anyone I consider “GOD” allow or accept or even witness of anything like that??? As “THEE” True God/Creator/Source and so on it would simply be a ridiculous idea that I would “see” as silly and impossible.
2. And when the evening comes today, we will remember nothing but the peace of God.
²For we will learn today what peace is ours, when we forget all things except God’s Love.
* NO, not God’s Love.
* GOD’S REALITY, EXISTENCE, AND PRESENCE.
