How we live says whether we understand that or not.

1. It will be in Grace that you stand as a recipient of the Atonement. Fully aligned with your heritage.

And you do this as a collective as well as an individual.

Note that the collective would involve all of creation and not only the human race.

I suspect that Christ will forever be “a little child” to God just as I recognize MY children this way.

This means that you will be able to make mistakes or take a fall, but you have a loving Father in God that KNOWS that you have within you the capacity to get back on your feet again.

He has given us the Holy Spirit to guide that which is within us that KNOWS this well. We may choose to place that part of us in charge of the decisions we make AND the perspective with which we view the world and all that is.

God created you to be happy and to be creators. He takes pride in and rejoices in our accomplishments.

OUR RIGHT TO EXIST AND TO PURSUE JOY IS GIVEN BY GOD ONLY.

No matter what society, history, or ego confusion has led you to believe.

2. How would we “gather” in the attitude or acknowledgement of the Atonement?

I reviewed this question when I was reviewing my thoughts* on The Holy Encounter, July/August 2023, “Cultivate a Consciousness of Peace” (2 of 9) written by Beverly Hutchinson McNeff with which I had very strong disagreement.

I have to admit that I was surprised at how sharply I disagreed.

I respectfully suggest that this could be the difference between those who understand the peace that passes understanding and those who do not.

Quote reviewed:

“The Course advocates something radically different than the world. It does not ask us to fight against the issues in the world but rather to support the presence of peace. That means looking at the daily compromises to peace that we all make … the anger we have in traffic, the judgments about those in “power,” the frustrations we have over day-to-day issues that we allow to rob us of our peace. We hand over our peace daily and then wonder why our world leaders can’t find a peaceful solution. We need to start being the leaders of peace by making peace a priority in our daily lives. We need to stop waiting for others to be nice to us and for the world and our lives to change before peace can be found within.” ~ unquote

* The Course asks us to recognize ourselves as ONE ENTITY before and within the Mind of God. In doing so, we will come to understand that what we experience in our ‘personal lives’ AND in our minds IS REFLECTED in the larger venue.

* As such, we find that ACCEPTING the peace that ONLY the acknowledgment of God, and His Son’s innocence, can induce as a direct GIFT from GOD through the Holy Spirit cannot help but influence the world and all of creation as a Whole.

* These things are NOT the issue, “the anger we have in traffic, the judgments about those in “power,” the frustrations we have over day-to-day issues that we allow to rob us of our peace,” from WITHIN the PEACE THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING. In fact, they may be considered promptings of the Holy Spirit to motivate us to ACTION IF ONLY IN OUR THOUGHTS, especially in prayer for the frustrations that humanity currently believes that it faces.

  • Even to be irritated when driving is to perhaps prompt one to be more alert, while to be irritated 5 minutes later may signal an anger management issue.

* These things prompt us to action that is THEN REFLECTED OUT INTO SOCIETY AND CREATION AS A WHOLE. That action WILL THEN BE GUIDED AND DIRECTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT and NOT by our frustrations or opinions IF WE COME FROM THE PLACE OF PEACE THAT ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN GIVE.

* When we do NOT do OUR PART in the maintenance of dignity among the human race by addressing the very issues that distress US, HOW can we expect those WE place in leadership positions to assist us in this endeavor?

* The ONLY way that we can be leaders of peace is by ACCEPTING the ATONEMENT/GOD/AND CHRIST’s INTRINSIC INNOCENCE. Then following the promptings of the Holy Spirit instead of seeking to camouflage the affects of an ego dominated social consciousness by ignoring our responsibility and accountability WITHIN the MIND OF CHRIST.

* We need to INSIST that others be courteous to us by simply bringing it to light when they are not. We can do so without expectation of change in the moment, perhaps, but we MUST acknowledge that something is amiss when we are able to because there are MANY WHO CANNOT.

* Beverly is correct in stating that peace must be found FIRST INSIDE OURSELVES. And it is only through the Atonement that this is accomplished because it acknowledges God’s Supreme Authority and the Grace that He has given His Son through His Creation.

3. Do not be afraid to see one another.

Recognize the “acknowledge the true creative worth of both yourself AND the other one. This places strength where it belongs.” ACIM, Urtext pg. 38

This acknowledges God’s Authority to decide the value of His Son and Creation.

What makes us “Son” and not solely “Creation” is the endowment of the ability to create yourself that was extended BY the Creator.

When we are uncomfortable with where someone has been, or how we perceive them, we tend to “not see them.

God gave EVERYTHING its JUSTIFICATION or RIGHT TO BE.

NO ONE ELSE HAS THAT RIGHT OR AUTHORITY.

You could include this with inanimate objects as well. And to that which is unseen, as well as all that one is capable of seeing, AND to the Whole of Time which will assist in the reduction of Time and the need of suffering and conflict.

Pretty cool, huh!!!?!

4. You are not here to “fix” anyone but you.

This does not mean that you do not teach what is healthy boundaries by how you allow yourself to be treated!

Even though you may be able to see “roles” that include painful or destructive behavior they must choose to “fix,” OR RATHER RECEIVE, themselves as God created them.

You allow this BEST by having healthy boundaries and treating others as you want to be treated. THIS alone shows them that they TOO have VALUE!

Till next time, God bless, debi
