Universal Reading 2nd in May 2023 Our View Shifts as We Walk in the Atonement
You can feel it, almost like a carnival ride racing safely from here to there, challenging every part of your psychological being.

This Reading is taken from a book I wrote in 2019 and expresses the continued growth of understanding the things that I wrote about there.
Mama’s Christmas Carol, You God the Power, Mom!
1. The world of separation supports privacy to a fault.
Do not misunderstand.
We each need our private time and space to mingle with nature or self, or with those we have elected to serve and learn from specifically in this lifetime.
However, the gathering times should be a place where we can share concerns of self and others under the umbrella of the Atonement.
The Atonement being recognition that we are all One in God worthy of all that He IS as His Son. This gathering would bring about greater joy for all and no one needs to be excluded because the challenges of humanity are not that diverse. Meaning they all fall under similar false perceptions relating to separation from God and one another.
Jesus teaches us that all things will be known, in fact shouted from the roof tops. To me, that is what television does. From the place of the Atonement we would see things as mistakes, not sins that mean that we need to shun the people that we can lift, support, and celebrate God and Eternal Life with.
The human condition IS similar; however, each body has its own strengths and weaknesses as does each mind and personality.
IF we allow the Atonement into our societies we will remove the need of competition or envy. God will be the idea that we can take from another and have gain for ourselves.
We will not be afraid to listen to what another is saying because we will feel no threat in our rights to have a voice about any particular topic.
Today, we have industrialized the human condition based on the the idea of separation from God and the ultimate goal of the ego which is death. We treat people from birth to death as something that we can put on a conveyer belt and “process” like a packaging plant for the cattle that feed us.
Telepathy is our true state of communication, and we will have increased capacities for this as we evolve. Until then we want to train ourselves to listen to the Holy (Wholly) Spirit who will guide us to know what others are truly saying and what they truly need from us.
I will say that psychologically we are shifting rapidly away from the matrix that I was born into and we are starting to understand that AS LONG AS WE SETTLE FOR BEING COGS IN THE MACHINE THAT THE EGO HAS DEVISED, WE WILL BE A PART OF THE MATRIX AND NOT FREE UNTO OURSELVES.
This is something that we can and must each choose to become aware of and choose by way of the Atonement because there is no other way out of this confusion except completely releasing it and embracing a fundamental truth that it is God that gives us our sovereignty and no mortal being.
2. You may be able to see their role in the illusion and it may be that you are not meant to lift them up or “fix” the situation because of its role in the Plan.
It is not meant that all things will be fixed within the illusion. You only need accept the Atonement and their part in it to bless them.
This is huge.
I want to say “Sadly” and it is sad that large numbers of people will leave their physical bodies before knowing or accepting the truth but that is not the end because we are eternal beings, and their “role” may come to an impasse that does not include that awakening in this lifetime.
This, in NO WAY, suggests that they are lost or that they will not come to that awareness and acceptance fully and embrace the uniting comprehension that is the result of the Atonement. It may be in spirit, or it may be in another physical incarnation, but we can rest assured that ALL will receive it as soon as they are willing.
Shoot, maybe some of them have already received it and come here to raise the consciousness of humanity and this would include those we may see as very dark individuals. Remember that it is not our place to judge anyone or anything. Give the Holy (Wholly) Spirit the reigns in all forms of judgment and trust in His Guidance.
3. Mental illness is a part of believing that we are mortal.
It comes when we feel, even for a moment, that this life has any real validity because life as we view it today affirms our belief in separation from God and our ultimate death. No matter what amount of joy we find here what could this bring but a sense of sorrow and/or emptiness?
What if we saw life as a costume or role in a grand Universal Plan for the healing of the Mind of the Son of God?
Let’s look first at what it would mean to be without mental illness, found in A Course in Miracles, Urtext, page 220.
“When you have experienced the protection of God, the making of idols becomes inconceivable. There are no strange images in the Mind of God, and what is not in His Mind CANNOT be in yours, because you are of One Mind, and that Mind belongs to HIM. It is yours BECAUSE it belongs to Him, for ownership is sharing to Him. And if it is so for Him, it is so for you. His definitions ARE His laws, for by them He established the universe as what it is. No false gods you attempt to interpose between yourself and your reality, affect truth at all. Peace is yours because God created you. And He created nothing else.”
Note that if anyone “owns” you, it is God, and He has given you your freedom for He knows that you are even as He Is because His is All That IS.
There is NO capacity to do anything that is “outside of what He IS” and He is Love in its true and purest sense which we can only imagine from this place where ego rules.
The “false gods” are those you have given power to own you that have NO rightful claim.
“Peace is yours because God created you (* as His Son). And He created nothing else.” He gave His Son the ability to create as He has and while the Son cannot TRULY create ANYTHING outside the Will of God, the Son can BELIEVE that He can and the Father will not interfere with this because He wants the Son to accept willingly that His will is the same as His Father’s.
God knows that no true harm is coming to His Son (YOU). And Time evaporates once we know that God is our EVERYTHING. It does not diminish us in any way, rather it gives us full creative license to everything for eternity. An eternal NOW that has expression and diversity without end.
After that, I do not really want to go into how we harm ourselves but I think it will be helpful. Also found on A Course in Miracles Urtext, page 220:
“The rituals of the god of sickness are strange and very demanding. Joy is never permitted, for depression is the sign of allegiance to him. Depression MEANS that you have foresworn God. Men are afraid of blasphemy, but they do not know what it means. They do not realize that, to deny God, is to deny their own identity, and in this sense, the wages of sin IS death. The sense is very literal; — denial of Life perceives its opposite, as ALL forms of denial replace what IS, with what is NOT. No-one can really DO this, but that you can THINK you can, and BELIEVE YOU HAVE, is beyond dispute.
Do not forget, however, that to deny God will inevitably result in projection, and you will believe that others, AND NOT YOURSELF, have done this TO you. You WILL receive the message you give, because it is the message you WANT. You may believe that you judge your brothers by the messages they give YOU, but you HAVE judged them by the message you give THEM. Do not attribute your denial of joy to them, or you cannot see the spark in them, that could bring joy to YOU. It is the DENIAL of the spark that brings depression, and whenever you see your brothers WITHOUT it, you ARE denying God.
Allegiance to the denial of God is the ego’s religion. The god of sickness obviously demands the denial of health, because health is in direct opposition to its own survival. But consider what this means to YOU. UNLESS you are sick you cannot keep the gods you made, for only in sickness could you possibly WANT them. Blasphemy, then, is SELF-destructive, not God destructive. It means that you are willing NOT to know yourself.”
God has to be recognized for mental health to be achieved.
Mental health is the only thing I am addressing here because I do not want to encourage anyone to point fingers at themselves as a body and say “you are a sinner and do not believe in God” because they are ill.
Understanding and accepting the Atonement that Jesus wants us to take part in is how we let go of the bondage of “the story” the ego has told us about who we are and who each other is and allows us to see the “spark” (Light of God) that is within all that is His Son which is all that is.
I understand that this is huge. I respect that. We have all had our trials.
Yet, there is only one way out of this and that is in recognizing Christ and His complete INNOCENCE beyond the story and the trauma.
Much love and sympathy I express to you because I have felt the disillusionment and suffering that mourning the loss of the “story” brings.
Let me remind you that you DO NOT truly want to see anyone else suffer.
This will not remedy your own trauma. Only in embracing the FACT that the Son of God made a BIG MISTAKE by thinking Himself separate from God could any of this confusion and trauma have occurred.
And, if your life has been good or reasonably smooth and you do not want to let it go, you have not yet grasped the idea that anything that anyone suffers in any time within the Body of Christ IS A PART OF YOU.
THIS is a significant part of the REALITY of being ONE.
4. Forgive the original error, which is the thought by Christ that He had separated from God, with gratitude for that witness and all that blesses your life; including every brother and sister, triumph and disaster, and do not forget to appreciate the calm moments as well.
I think you get the idea.
DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING OUT of your forgiveness or your gratitude.
When we say that the world does not exist like A Course in Miracles “says directly” and do not account for the fact that Jesus is saying “the world as we have imagined it through the ego-mind which was created to replace God” we remove ourselves from the equation of existence as well as the Atonement.
We have to use reason and common sense as well as an ear to the Holy (Wholly) Spirit if we want to understand the SIMPLICITY of the teachings of Jesus and NOT get snookered by the sly tactics of the ego-mind.
