What an interesting hypothesis!

…e to be seen as a weakening factor that pushes us to find happiness for the sake of relief. Rather, our suffering should be commended for the way it drives us to believe that it is possible to build up the power necessary to construct meaning out of a world that may be harsh and meaningless.
